The City of Simpsonville is presently accepting applications for the following positions:

The successful candidate must possess a High School Diploma and completion of required criminal justice training and education, or any equivalent combination or education and experience which provides the required skills, knowledge and experience. Must be able to obtain SC Law Enforcement Certification(s). Must possess a valid South Carolina State Driver’s License.


Under occasional supervision, performs general police duties to ensure that strict enforcement of state and local laws relating to public safety and welfare. Participates in investigations, crime prevention programs and public service activities as assigned. Maintains records and prepares reports as required.


This position is full time and rotates 12 hour shifts, 7:00am-7:00pm, 7:00pm -7:00am
