Free admission to performance by Chamber Orchestra

Simpsonville, S.C. — The Greenville Symphony Chamber Orchestra will perform at the Simpsonville Arts Center on Saturday at 2 p.m. with free admission.

Open to the public, the event is part of a series of performances by the Chamber Orchestra titled "Gratitude Pop-Up Music!" This special concert will feature music by American composers George Gershwin, Aaron Copland and Samuel Barber for string and woodwind quartets.

Arts Center Manager Melissa Sturgis said the Arts Center and City are "thrilled" to host the Greenville Symphony Orchestra.

"With having just opened for performances in May, the Arts Center has already hosted musicals and art exhibitions and now a well known, well respected and highly talented orchestra," Sturgis said. "We very much appreciate the presence of the Greenville Symphony Orchestra at our arts center and the opportunity to offer the public free admission to a wonderful show."
