Simpsonville community gathers for National Day of Prayer

Simpsonville, S.C. — Simpsonville city officials, pastors and other leaders gathered on Thursday to hold a National Day of Prayer to lift up the community.

More than 60 people congregated at 12 p.m. at Summit Church on West Curtis Street in Simpsonville. Included among the attendees were Mayor Paul Shewmaker, Simpsonville Police Chaplain Daniel Clark and pastors Brett Aiken of Temple Baptist, A. A. Dicks of Mt. Zion and Jim Geyer and Nathan Forrest of Summit Church.
