Habitat hosts wall-raising for Woodside Park development

Ground was broken Oct. 2

Simpsonville, S.C. — Simpsonville city officials attended on Aug. 12 a wall raising and celebration for the Woodside Park development by Habitat for Humanity of Greenville County.

Councilmember Jenn Hulehan of Ward 3 said the opening prayer, and Mayor Paul Shewmaker gave opening remarks. Guests also included Habitat Greenville, Habitat Greenville Board of Directors, Greenville County Redevelopment Authority, Greenville County Council and Greenville City Council.

At the celebration, the Malaczewski family helped project representatives raise the first wall of the project.
