Portion of West Curtis Street between North Main and North Maple streets to close
Simpsonville, S.C. — In order to conduct sewer repairs, work in downtown west of North Main Street will start Oct. 27.
The portion of West Curtis Street between North Main and North Maple streets will be closed during the repair work with a detour route that uses West College, North Main, North East Main, and North Maple streets.
Motorists traveling west on Curtis Street will turn right onto North Main Street or North East Main Street, turn left onto West College Street, and turn left onto North Maple Street to then turn right to continue on West Curtis Street. Motorists traveling east on West Curtis Street will turn left onto North Maple Street, right onto West College Street, and right onto North Main Street or North East Main Street to then turn left to continue on Curtis Street.
Motorists traveling north or south on North Main Street or North East Main Street can use West College and West Trade streets and other side streets to enter and exit the west side of downtown.
