Heritage Park Railway closed Oct. 1 due to weather
Train remains scheduled for normal operating hours Oct. 2
Simpsonville, S.C. — Due to the forecast of rain, Heritage Park Railway will be closed on Oct. 1 and scheduled to open at normal operating hours on Oct. 2.
The National Weather Service has predicted heavy rains for the weekend from the remnants of Hurricane Ian, which was downgraded to a tropical storm Thursday. A decision about whether the Railway will open Sunday afternoon will likely be made Sunday morning.
