Precautions by Officers

• Officers have been provided masks and other personal protective equipment for use during daily duties
• Officers have been instructed to practice social distancing when possible
  • e.g. Police may conduct interviews outdoors
• Officers have been asked to limit physical contact as much as possible
• Public is asked to conduct as much business with the Simpsonville Police Department as possible via phone

  • If the public must visit the police department, citizens are asked to social distance with staff and each other
• A sneeze guard has been installed in the front window to protect the records clerk and other staff when interacting with the public
