The City of Simpsonville is seeking qualified candidates to fill three seats with 4-year terms on the Planning Commission and two seats with 3-year terms on the Board of Zoning Appeals. Qualified candidates must live in Simpsonville city limits or hold an active city business license. Members must be available for monthly meetings. Commissioners will review requests for annexation, rezoning, and changes to the Comprehensive Plan and Zoning Ordinance to then make recommendations for consideration by City Council. Board members will review and make rulings on variances, special exceptions, and appeals of administrative decisions.
