- When can I apply via mail for an ABSENTEE BALLOT? Applications for absentee ballots can be submitted to the Greenville County Voter Registration & Election Office no later than 5 p.m. on Oct. 24th. The Election Office will not receive applications for absentee ballots via mail after 5 p.m. on Oct. 24th.

- Can I vote for a candidate for all three wards up for election in Simpsonville city limits, or can I vote for a candidate for only the ward in which I reside? All wards for Simpsonville City Council are voted at-large, which means all registered voters in Simpsonville city limits are eligible to vote for a candidate for all wards and the office of the mayor (when up for election). All registered voters who vote on Election Day on Nov. 4, 2025 can vote for a candidate each in Ward 2, Ward 4, and Ward 6.
- Where do I vote on Election Day? Where you vote on Election Day can be learned by either calling the Greenville County Voter Registration & Election Office at 864-467-7250 and/or visiting the following S.C. Election Commission webpage: Check Your Voter Registration. To check your precinct name (e.g. Sycamore, Bridge Fork, Graze Branch, Hillcrest, Moore Creek, Standing Springs, Neely Farms, Raintree); precinct/voting location address; and whether you are registered to vote online, you will need your name, birthdate, and last four digits of your social security number; the county is of course Greenville County.
- Can I call or visit Simpsonville City Hall to learn about my voter registration status, voting location, and other election and voting information? City and City Hall staff and officials may refer you to the Greenville County Voter Registration & Election Office at 864-467-7250. Since accessing voter registration online requires residents’ names, birthdates, and last four digits of their social security numbers, residents are strongly encouraged to visit the aforementioned Check Your Voter Registration webpage and/or call the Election Office as such personal information is sensitive and unsafe to provide.
- Is Simpsonville City Hall a precinct for Election Day on Nov. 4, 2025? Yes, Simpsonville City Hall at 425 E. Curtis St. is a precinct location for eligible registered voters in only Ward 1 with precinct name Sycamore. The Simpsonville City Hall/Police Department building can be accessed via East Curtis Street near the Powderhorn entrance and Academy Street near the intersection of Academy and East College streets. Parking is available in the spaces between the building and Gracely Park. The entrance to Simpsonville City Hall is the door on the west end of the building, and poll workers will direct voters to Council Chambers where voting takes place; Council Chambers is on the first floor of the building to the immediate right upon entering the building adjacent to the restrooms. If you have limited mobility, ask a poll worker for assistance, and the poll worker will follow Greenville County Voter Registration & Election Office policy.
