Early voting for the Simpsonville Ward 6 runoff election will take place at McAlister Square Nov. 12, Nov. 13 and Nov. 14 at 8:30 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Simpsonville, S.C. — Early voting for the Simpsonville City Council Ward 6 special election will take place at McAlister Square at 225 S. Pleasantburg Drive on Nov. 12, Nov. 13 and Nov. 14 at 8:30 a.m. – 5 p.m., per the Greenville County Election Commission.
Because no candidate received a majority of votes for the Ward 6 seat on Election Day, a special runoff election will be held on Nov. 18. Registered voters who are eligible to vote in Simpsonville municipal elections can vote in the Ward 6 special election, whether they voted on Election Day on Nov. 4 or during the early voting period ahead of Election Day.
The candidates in the Simpsonville City Council Ward 6 runoff are Lou Hutchings and Jerry Tusso, the top two vote earners on Election Day.
