Based at the Simpsonville Arts Center, the newly formed Simpsonville Echoes Ensemble troupe is partnering with Acting Up Theatre Company for first production
Simpsonville, S.C. — The newly-formed Simpsonville Theatre Company based out of the Simpsonville Arts Center is teaming up with Acting Up Theatre Company for the production of “Disney’s Alice in Wonderland Jr.”
Auditions will be held on Feb. 17 and Feb. 19 at the Arts Center at 110 Academy St. Members of the public can visit the following link for more information about auditions, including signing up and scripts: actinguptheatre.com.
Formed in partnership with The Little White House, the Simpsonville Theatre Company seeks to create a theatre experience and development program for those with special needs in the surrounding community based out of the Simpsonville Arts Center. The weekly program is expected to run up to six months and will use volunteer and compensated peer mentors, teachers, counselors and creative and technical members of the community to learn from each other throughout the process of staging a full one-act play with the Echoes cast members as the stars.
